Dynamo Moscow coach Sergei Silkin rubbished talks about a conflict with team captain Andriy Voronin, he told RIA Novosti Saturday.

Voronin made a fourth successive appearance from the bench in Saturday's 1-0 win over CSKA Moscow in the Russian Premier League, fuelling speculation of a spat.

Several days before the match the Ukraine international was quoted as saying that Silkin had never explained his demotion to the subs bench.

"I constantly keep in touch with Andriy," Silkin said after the match.

"People see everything from the outside, but we are one team. I explain the guys every decision because it is important for me to make them understand my point."

Silkin put Voronin's rare starts down to increasing competition at the club.

"We have 15-19 players," said Silkin. "But only 11 of them can start the game. They all are ambitious guys and I understand the feelings of those who don't play."

Voronin has scored 11 goals in 35 matches this season. He was appointed club captain after arriving from Liverpool in 2010.
