Sergei Kornilenko's second-half strike rescued a 1-1 draw for Krylya Sovetov against 10-man FC Krasnodar in the Russian Premier League on Saturday.

Oleg Samsonov scored a spectacular opener on 37 minutes, thumping into the top left corner from 20 yards. It was the Russian's first goal for Krasnodar since joining from Krylya in the summer.

Former Blackpool striker Kornilenko leveled it on 70 minutes, stopping a shot from Steve Joseph Renette dead and directing it between two defenders and into the right-hand corner of Nukri Revishvili's goal.

Dusan Andelkovic was shown a second yellow card in injury time for the visitors.

Krylya stay in 14th, one point behind FC Volga, who beat FC Rostov 2-0 earlier Saturday. Krasnodar remain in ninth, top of the relegation group on 48 points.

Earlier Saturday, Zenit beat Spartak Moscow 2-1 in the capital.

On Friday, FC Tom Tomsk ended months at the foot of the table as their 2-0 win at Spartak Nalchik lifted the Siberians to 15th. On Sunday, Amkar Perm face Terek Grozny, Rubin Kazan play Anzhi and Lokomotiv Moscow host city rivals Dynamo.
