At least eight people were killed and dozens more injured in a series of explosions in Thailand's southern province of Yala on Saturday, the BBC television reported.
Three blasts occured in the business area of the city of Yala at around midday, Yala Governor Dethrat Simsiri said.
He said two of the devices were placed in motorcycles and the third in a car.
The bombs went off within ten minutes of each other, Yala police said.
More than 4,300 people have been killed in shootings and bomb attacks in the Muslim-dominated provices of Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat since a decades-old separatist campaign reignited in 2004.
