An own goal from Christian Noboa and an injury-time strike from Ari gave Spartak Moscow a 3-1 win at city rivals Dynamo in the Russian Premier League on Sunday.

Brazilian striker Ari poked home from close range in second-half injury time to seal the points for Spartak.

The Ecuadorian Noboa, playing his fourth game for Dynamo since joining from Rubin Kazan in February, headed low past his own goalkeeper under pressure from Spartak striker Ari to put the visitors ahead in the 70th minute.

Emanuel Emenike had put Spartak in front from point-blank range on the half hour, prodding home Artem Dzyuba's header after Sergei Parshivlyuk's cross from the right.

Alexander Samedov equalized on the stroke of half time, driving a left-foot strike into the corner of the net on Alexander Kokorin's knock-down.

The two clubs had been locked in joint fourth on 59 points, but the win takes Spartak past Dynamo to hold the position in solo, a single point behind Lokomotiv Moscow in third.

It is Dynamo's fourth defeat in their last five matches, following last week's 5-1 hammering at leaders Zenit St. Petersburg, and represents a serious blow to their hopes of challenging for a Champions League berth this season.

Dynamo controlled the flow of the game for large swathes, missing several one-on-ones and hitting the Spartak woodwork through Russia international Kokorin.

Dynamo goalkeeper Anton Shunin rushed out of his box to head away early danger, beating Artem Dzyuba to the ball.

Kokorin side-footed against the post on 24 minutes, racing clear after a Spartak defender slipped.

At the other end, Shunin clawed away a close-range effort from Dmitry Kombarov seconds later.

Dynamo responded to the opener instantly, forcing Andriy Dikan into two reflex saves, first from Kokorin then from Artur Yusupov on the rebound.

Winger Balasz Dzsudzsak cleared an Emenike header off the line moments later, with the Nigerian claiming in vain the ball had crossed the line.

Kokorin glanced a header wide on 40 minutes before Samedov's leveler sent the sides in all square.

Spartak's Kombarov veered in from the left five minutes after the break and unleashed a low shot that Shunin grabbed at the second attempt.

The ball ricocheted to Dzsudzsak on 55 minutes but the Hungarian skewed wide from 10 yards out.

Kokorin then missed his second one-on-one when Dikan narrowed the angle and saved with a flailing leg. He dragged a 69th-minute shot inches wide as Dynamo upped the pressure.

Spartak's inadvertent winner came from a 70th-mintue free kick lifted into the box by Dmitry Kombarov.

Shunin saved Dynamo from a heavier defeat in the dying seconds when he dived at the feet of Emenike to deflect the ball away from danger.

Other matches Saturday saw Lokomotiv Moscow recover from a midweek thrashing by Rubin Kazan to win 2-0 away to CSKA Moscow and consolidate third place; while FC Tomsk and Krylya Sovetov played out a goalless draw and Amkar stole a 1-0 win at Krasnodar.

Elsewhere Sunday, a Hector Bracamonte strike and an overhead bicycle kick from Kornel Salata gave FC Rostov a 2-1 win over 10-man Spartak Nalchik.

Later, Zenit host Rubin Kazan looking to stretch their league lead to nine points, and Dan Petrescu's FC Kuban travel to Guus Hiddink's Anzhi.
