A Hector Bracamonte strike and an overhead bicycle kick from Kornel Salata gave FC Rostov a 2-1 win over 10-man Spartak Nalchik in the Russian Premier League on Sunday.

Bracamonte hit a low shot from range on 11 minutes that squirmed under Nalchik goalkeeper Alexander Budakov and into the corner.

Slovak defender Salata made it two on the half hour, powering in an overhead kick from the edge of the area after Nalchik failed to fully clear a cross.

The visitors pulled it back to 2-1 on the hour, with midfielder Adnan Azkhirovich slamming home after a goalmouth scramble.

Nalchik striker David Siradze was sent off ten minutes from time after charging into Rostov's Roman Yemelyanov in protest at a tough tackle.

Rostov go to eighth overall and second in the relegation group with the win, moving to 42 points. Krasnodar remain top, despite their 1-0 defeat at Amkar Perm on Saturday, on 48 points. Terek Grozny could retake second with a win at home to FC Volga in Chechnya on Monday.

Nalchik's fourth-straight defeat keeps them on 27 points, a single point and place ahead of bottom club FC Tomsk.

Other matches Saturday say Lokomotiv Moscow recover from a midweek thrashing by Rubin Kazan to win 2-0 away to CSKA Moscow and consolidate third place; while FC Tomsk and Krylya Sovetov played out a goalless draw.

Elsewhere Sunday Zenit host Rubin Kazan looking to stretch their league lead to nine points, and Dan Petrescu's FC Kuban travels to Guus Hiddink's Anzhi.
