Russia’s Anna Chicherova has won the Golden High Jump competition in Belgium’s Antwerp, clearing 6 feet, 6 3/4 inches to defeat Olympic champion Tia Hellebaut of Belgium, the competition website reported.
The 29-year-old world champion’s winning jump equaled the top mark of the season, set by Chicherova earlier this month.
In her return to topflight competition after she gave birth to a second child, Hellebaut soared over 6-4 3/4 inches, the Olympic qualifying height.
