Thailand's worst floods in decades have left 602 people dead and two are missing, the Thai Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation said on Sunday.

Thailand has been struggling with floods, the worst in the country in the past 50 years, since late July.

Floods are still affecting 18 provinces, including the capital Bangkok, while other 46 provinces are recovering from the disaster. More than five million people or about two million households are still suffering from the disaster, the ministry's report said.

Tens of thousands of manufactures have been swamped, putting over a million of employees at the risk of losing their jobs and causing losses of about $4.5 billion, Xinhua news agency reported.
