German designer makes milk dresses

German biochemist and fashion designer Anke Domaske, 28, has developed the textile, which is almost entirely made from milk. The fabric is called Qmilch (a combination of the word "Quality" and the German word for "milk"). It has moisturizing qualities, drapes and folds like silk, but can be washed and dried like cotton.
