Anders Breivik, who is accused of killing 77 people in Norway last summer, is due to make a virtual appearance in court on November 14, Fox News reported.

Breivik has confessed to killing eight people with a car bomb in downtown Oslo on July 22 and then gunning down 69 others on the island of Utoya, which was hosting a summer camp for the governing Labor Party's youth branch.

The court in Oslo ordered Breivik to appear in court on November 14 via video conference.

“He will be allowed to appear in court,” Svein Tore Andersen, the court representative, said.

On November 8 the court decided to partially open the hearing for the relatives of victims and journalists. On November 18 the judge will decide whether to extend Breivik’s detention for another 12 weeks.

Lawyers for the defense have filed a complaint against their client's “virtual” appearance in the court, as it would not allow the judges to adequately assess the health of Breivik, who has been in solitary confinement since his arrest.
