The fourth and final game by six-time Russian Champion Svidler, who just needed a draw with white against Alexander Grischuk, ended in draw by mutual agreement.

The third place, which also allows qualifying for the World Chess Championship, is yet to be decided between Vassily Ivanchuk and Ruslan Ponomariov.
