A 27-year old British singer Amy Winehouse, famous for her drug and alcohol addiction, was found dead in her London flat on Saturday, Telegraph reported quoting police as saying.
Daily Mail said Winehouse was found dead at about 4 pm (local time) on Sunday. There no information on the cause of her death.
However Sunday Mirror said citing the police sources that drug and alcohol overdose was considered to cause the singer's death.
Winehouse's spokesman did not confirm the information about her death, Reuters reported.
In June Winehouse cancelled her European tour after an embarrassing incident at her Serbian concert when she was too drunk to sing.
Winehouse had five most prestigious musical awards, Grammy, including the Best Song award, the Best Debut and the Best Pop Album for Back to Black.
