Police in south Moscow have recovered a human arm from a pond, the latest in a series of recent gruesome discoveries across the Russian capital, a law enforcement source said on Friday.
The find comes after the decapitated head of a middle-aged man was found in the Moskva River in the west of the city on Wednesday.
Another arm - severed at the wrist - was pulled from water under a bridge in south Moscow’s Tsaritsino Park on May 2. Two feet were discovered floating nearby in the Moskva River on the same day. A hand was discovered in the same area a week later.
All the body parts are to believed to have belonged to the same person.
Police have yet to establish the victim’s identity, but believe he was killed in mid-April.
