Estonia's ruling Reform Party, led by Prime Minister Andrus Ansip, has won the Baltic country's parliamentary election gaining 28.6% of the vote.

Estonia's ruling Reform Party, led by Prime Minister Andrus Ansip, has won the Baltic country's parliamentary election gaining 28.6% of the vote, the Central Election Commission said Monday citing preliminary results.

The party will have 33 out of 101 seats in parliament. Together with the IRL party, also in the ruling coalition, which garnered 20.6% (23 seats), they will have 56 seats.

The opposition Center Party came second with 23.2% (26 seats), IRL was third and the Social Democrats were in fourth place with 17.1% (19 seats).

The voter turnout was 63%. Other parties failed to overcome the 5% election barrier.
