The field's oil reserves amount to 31.688 million tons of C1 category oil, 97.358 million tons of C2 category oil, while recoverable reserves stand at 10.503 million tons and 32.649 million tons of C1 and C2 oil respectively, the government said.

The field's gas reserves amount to 22.451 billion cubic metres of C1and 47.384 bcm of C2. The gas condensate reserves stand at 2.948 million tons of C1, 4.274 million tons of C2 , while recoverable gas condensate reserves amount to 1.474 million tons and 2.137 million tons of C1 and C2 respectively.

The Lodochnoye field is close to the Vankor oil and gas field, the biggest field discovered in Russia in the last 25 years, which belongs to Russia's Rosneft oil firm.

Apart from the Lodochnoye field, the subsoil agency also plans to sell the Malyshevskoye emerald field in the Sverdlovsk region in the Urals on March 23 and hydrocarbon fields at the Naulsky block in the northern Nenets autonomous region on April 6.

Revenues from licence sales in 2011 will soar almost 400 percent to 69 billion rubles ($2.22 billion), according to the agency.
