Moscow's utilities services have taken some 320,000 cu m of snow out of the Russian capital over the past 24 hours, a spokesman for a deputy mayor said Sunday.
"Some 5,000 dump trucks were involved in the effort," Igor Pergamenshchik said.
He added that 8.7 million cu m of snow had been removed from the streets since the start of winter.
