Incumbent Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko gained almost 90% of the vote at the closed voting stations, Belarus' Central Election Commission chairwoman said.

The said the figures were provided from the so-called closed stations, which are located in hospitals, health resorts and military units.

"A total of 89.1% of voters cast their ballots for Lukashenko at closed stations," Lidya Yermoshina said.

Some 70,000 people voted at these closed stations. "Closed stations show the election tendency better than any poll," she said.
