Investigators have initiated a criminal case into the attempted murder of the owner of a large Moscow car dealership, who received multiple gunshot wounds, a source in the capital's police force said on Saturday.
Igor Lisyutin, the owner of Elex Polyus car dealership, was shot in the cheek and chest when he was leaving his office in southern Moscow on Friday evening.
Lisyutin was hospitalized after the attack and remains under security protection at a Moscow hospital.
This is the second attempted murder in the car dealership world in Moscow in just two days.
On Thursday evening, the director of the car dealership Avtoritet was shot while exiting a carwash. The man received multiple gunshot wounds and was hospitalized.
A search for the gunmen in both attacks is still underway.
