Five people, including a child, were killed after a car collided with a truck in the north of Kazakhstan, the country's emergencies ministry said on Saturday.
The collision between a Lada car and a Volvo truck took place on the Chelyabinsk-Novosibirsk highway on late Friday afternoon, the ministry said.
Lada's driver and four passengers, including a two-year-old child died at the scene of the accident.
Police launched an investigation to establish the cause of the tragic accident.
