Russia's fixed capital investment grew 10.7 percent year-on-year in October and 9.4 percent month-on-month, while the overall investment totaled 956.2 billion ($31.45 billion) rubles, the Statistics Service said on Thursday.
In September, investment volume grew by 9.4 percent against September 2009 and by 9.1 percent over August 2010, the service said. In the first nine months of 2010, investment grew 4.7 percent compared to the same period in 2009.
The Economic Development Ministry forecasts 2.9 percent investment growth in 2010.
