The U.S. Justice Department has struck down the so-called "no solicitation" agreements for employees of U.S. technology giants, The Business Recorder reported.

Several major technology firms, including Apple and Google, signed deals between 2005 and 2007 that prevented them from recruiting each other’s staff.

The companies have agreed not to make any such deals in the next five years. No sanctions will be levied against any of the firms involved in the agreements, despite evidence that these deals damaged the rights of employees, computer magazine PC World said.
