The Russian team ends the eighth day of the first ever Youth Olympic games with three gold, one silver and three bronze medals.
Ekaterina Bleskina, 17, took the first gold for Russia on Saturday in the hundred meter hurdles event after she finished the race in 13.34 seconds, beating athletes from Australia and Switzerland.
Also in today's athletics events, Nadezhda Leonteva won the bronze medal in the 5 km walk.
But gymnast Viktoria Komova, 15, stole the show, adding two more gold medals to the one she won on Thursday in the all-round event. Today she took the gold medal in the uneven bar and vault events.
Another Russian gymnast, Daniel Kazachkov, took bronze in the pommel horse event, while Bolot Tsybzhitov took third place in the archery men's individual final.
The silver medal was won by Viktor Baluda and Mikhail Biryukov in the men's tennis doubles.
