One of the two International Space Station's (ISS) cooling systems went wrong on Sunday after a pump failure, the NASA website said.

A module that pumps ammonia coolant to prevent equipment from overheating was shut down early Sunday, the cosmonauts succeeded to launch it but later it malfunctioned again. The problem forced two of the station's four gyroscopes to shut down along with several other systems.

Specialists from the Houston Mission Control Center are currently discussing possibility of replacing the pump with a new one. Two emergency pumps are placed on platforms near ISS.

There is no danger to the ISS crew members, all the other systems operate in customary mode, the NASA website said.
