Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova has advanced to the finals of the Stanford Cup in California after beating Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska 1-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Fifth-seeded Sharapova beat Radwanska, seeded third in the tournament, in 2 hours.
In the final, 15-ranked Sharapova will face Victoria Azarenka from Belarus who defeated top-seeded Samantha Stosur 6-2, 6-3.
Sharapova and Azarenka have played three times against each other, with the Russian tennis star scoring two victories and the Belarusian winning only on one occasion.
Sharapova, who is looking to get back to top form, has won the Memphis and Strasbourg tournaments this season and has been second in Birmingham, losing to China's Li Na.
