A floating restaurant on the Moskva River in the center of the Russian capital burnt down in the early hours of Thursday, no casualties were reported, a spokesman for Moscow's emergencies department said.
Two-storey floating restaurant Mama Zoya caught fire after 3:00 in the morning Moscow time. Over ten fire engines and a fire cutter were involved in the relief operation.
"No one was injured as the fire was put down," the spokesman said adding that an investigation has been launched to establish the cause of the fire.
A police source said earlier that, according to the administration of the restaurant, three employees were missing after the fire.
Mama Zoya restaurant was docked on the Moskva River on the opposite side of Moscow's recreation and amusement center Park Kultyry, previously known as Gorky Park.
