Poland is content with Russia's investigation into the plane crash that killed Polish President Lech Kaczynski, a top Russian lawmaker said Friday.

Konstantin Kosachyov, who heads the Russian lower house's international affairs committee, said after a meeting with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski that the minister had "never heard of any complaints against the Russian side and the way the investigation is being conducted."

Kaczynski, his wife, and an official Polish delegation of senior officials were killed when a Soviet-made Tu-154 aircraft crashed on April 10 near the western Russian town of Smolensk while attempting to land in thick fog.

Russian and Polish investigators and experts are jointly investigating the causes of the crash. Polish military prosecutors are also conducting their own separate investigation.

An Interstate Aviation Committee spokeswoman said on Friday Russia will hand over to Poland the flight data recorders from the Polish presidential plane on Monday.

Committee head Tatyana Andonina said however the plane's black boxes would have to remain with the Interstate Aviation Committee until the end of the investigation.
