For the first time in 45 years, Inter Milan won the UEFA Champions League title on Sunday by defeating Germany's Bayern Munich 2:0.
Argentine striker Diego Milito scored both goals in Inter's first Champions League final since 1972, giving the team the third overall European title.
"It's a great joy for me. I have never experienced this and I am really happy for Inter... We deserve this trophy, the team, the club, the president and everyone," Milito was quoted as saying by the Sky Sport Italia.
The victory also made Milan the first Italian team to achieve the treble of Serie A, Italian Cup and Champions League.
