One of the three hotels attacked by heavily-armed militants in India's Mumbai in November 2008 reopened on Saturday.

The luxury Oberi hotel follows the nearby Trident and Taj Mahal, also targeted by the gunmen, in opening its doors to guests. The reopening was marked by a small ceremony.

Over 30 people were killed in the hotel during the three-day siege.

Some $35 million has been spent repairing the hotel, which was reduced to a shell in the fighting.

At least 166 people were killed during 10 coordinated attacks throughout south India's financial capital. New Delhi blames the attacks on Islamic militants based in Pakistan.
