“Moidodyr” (“Wash ‘Em Clean") is a 1923 poem for children by Korney Chukovsky (1882-1969), a famous Russian poet. The poem is about a small boy who does not want to wash. It features the character Moidodyr, a washstand, who scolds the boy and calls his soap bars and sponges to wash him.
