Russia took the bronze medal in a photo finish with Austria for the silver in the Vancouver Olympics men's 4x7.5km biathlon relay on Friday under heavy snowfall.
Norway will bring home the gold medal with a total time of 1:21:38.1 and Austria won the silver in the event with a time of 1:22:16.7. Russia's time in the event was 1:22:16.9, just two-tenths of a second behind Austria.
Russia's team moved up from third place during the ski event when Austria's Christoph Sumann missed the target three times in the next to the last lap.
Russia's biathlon relay team includes Ivan Tcherezov, Anton Shipulin, Maxim Choudov, and Evgeny Ustyugov.
