Miller won the gold for his country at the Whistler Creekside showing the best time of 2 minutes 44.92 seconds.
Croatia's Ivica Kostelic won the silver (2 minutes 45.25 seconds) and Silvan Zurbriggen of Switzerland took the bronze (2 minutes 45.32 seconds).
