More than 200 people have taken to the streets in downtown Vancouver to protest against the Winter Olympics, CBC television reported on Saturday.
The television report says people wearing masks are extremely aggressive, throwing things at police authorities, spray painting cars as they march on, breaking glass, and assaulting passers-by.
Special police forces are making their way into the area of unrest.
