The number of UN personnel killed in a powerful earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12 has risen to 82, with 53 still listed as missing.
The UN Headquarters in the Christopher Hotel was leveled in the quake which devastated Port-au-Prince. The head of the UN mission to Haiti, Hedi Annabi of Tunisia, his Brazilian deputy, Luiz Carlos da Costa and Police Commissioner Doug Coats of Canada were among the dead.
Estimates on the overall number of dead range up to 200,000, and more than 3 million people have been left without shelter.
