The body of the last missing mountaineer was found in the Russian North Caucasus republic of Kabardino-Balkaria on Saturday, a local emergencies spokesman said.
One mountaineer was killed, four others have survived, and the remaining four went missing as a group of nine climbing Mount Kashtan-Tau was swept by an avalanche on Friday. Rescuers recovered the bodies of three mountaineers earlier on Saturday.
"The fifth body was discovered at 2:05 p.m. Moscow time (11:05 GMT)," the spokesman said.
Over 70 rescuers from Kabardino-Balkaria and the adjacent republics of Karachai-Circassia and North Ossetia were involved in the search operation.
