A freight train was blown up in Russia's North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia on Monday, an interior ministry spokesman said.
The explosion took place in the republic's largest city of Nazran around 4:30 p.m. Moscow time.
"According to preliminary reports, there are no fatalities or injuries," he said.
He said the train was "almost empty."
