Hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide are expected to tune in to the Miss World final to be held in South Africa on Saturday night, with beauties from over 100 countries competing.

During the show, the reigning Miss World, Russia's Ksenia Sukhinova, will hand over the crown.

"The glittering two-hour spectacular from Gallagher Convention Centre in the City of Gold, Johannesburg will showcase the beauty and talent of 112 of the World's most incredible young women, who have spent one month enjoying the wonders of South Africa," the pageant organizers said.

"Presenters of the show will be China's leading TV presenter Angela Chow and South African TV host Michelle McLean. They will be joined by special guest from India, former Miss World Priyanka Chopra, who won the Miss World crown in 2000 and has now established herself as one of the leading actresses in Bollywood."

Russia will be represented by Ksenia Shipilova, an 18-year-old student from the small town of Kokhma in the Ivanovo Region.

Shipilova was a runner-up in the Miss Russia pageant earlier this year. The winner, Sofia Rudyeva, was barred from competing in the Miss World pageant after she was found to have posed nude for erotic magazines.

The show starts at 15:00 GMT.
