KIEV, October 8 (RIA Novosti) - A Ukrainian vice premier confirmed on Thursday that the Russian and Ukrainian prime ministers could meet in November on the sidelines of an intergovernmental economic session.

Vladimir Putin and Yulia Tymoshenko will be attending a session of the Russian-Ukrainian Intergovernmental Commission in the Crimean resort of Yalta.

"I have no doubt that the meeting will take place. We are currently negotiating the date and location," Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Hrihoriy Nemyrya said.

He said the premiers would discuss cooperation in energy, as well as aircraft, ship and machine production.

Putin and Tymoshenko had earlier been expected to meet in Kharkov, western Ukraine, in October.
