GROZNY, October 3 (RIA Novosti) - Some 145,000 people were left without power supplies in Chechnya, a local chief electricity engineer said on Saturday.
He said that a power pylon collapsed near Gudermes, Chechnya's second largest city, leaving two districts of the North Caucasus republic without electricity.
"According to our data, 145,000 people in the Gudermes and Kurchaloi districts are left without power supplies," he said.
