MOSCOW, July 17 (RIA Novosti) - A bout between heavyweight challenger David Haye of Britain and WBC Heavyweight World Champion Vitali Klitschko may be held on September 12 in Frankfurt, the BoxingScene.com website reported on Friday.

Frankfurt's Commerzbank-Arena staged games during the 2006 World Cup in Germany and holds more than 52,000 people. The website said the official information on the date and venue is expected to be released in the next few days.

Haye was initially scheduled to fight on June 20 against Vitali's younger brother Wladimir 'Dr. Steelhammer' Klitschko (53-3, 47 KOs), but the Briton pulled out of the bout due to an arm injury.

The 28-year-old British boxer (22-1, 21 KOs) surprised boxing fans by repeatedly insulting Klitschko brothers prior to the canceled bout.

At a news conference with Wladimir in April, the Londoner wore a t-shirt depicting himself holding aloft the two decapitated heads of the brothers.

Last December a scuffle broke out in a restaurant when the Briton presented Vitali (37-2, 36 KOs) with a British edition of Men's Health magazine, displaying a photo of Haye posing with the decapitated head of Wladimir.
