KIEV, July 12 (RIA Novosti) - Twenty-two people, including six children, have been hospitalized with acute intestinal infection in the past four days in southwest Ukraine, the country's emergencies ministry said on Sunday.
They fell ill after eating banana cakes prepared at a confectionary factory in the town of Mukachevo and sold at three local cafes, the emergencies ministry said.
None of the patients are in a critical condition, the ministry said.
Sanitary and anti-epidemic measures are underway in the area of the infection outbreak, the ministry said.
