L'AQUILA, July 9 (RIA Novosti) - South Korea could host a G20 summit in 2010, a Russian presidential aide said Thursday.
"It is evident that there is a necessity for additional G20 meetings. The next meeting is likely to be held in [South] Korea next year," Arkady Dvorkovich said.
The first G20 summit took place in November last year in Washington. The second one was held in April in London, and a third is planned for September in Pittsburg.
The main result of the London summit was the decision to allocate $5 trillion within 1.5 years to resolve economic problems, with a fifth of the sum to go to the International Monetary Fund.
