BAKU, April 30 (RIA Novosti) - A gunman opened fire at students at the Azerbaijani Oil Academy in Baku, injuring several and possibly killing one student on Thursday.
Eyewitnesses said a student was lying on the ground not moving, and at least one has been hospitalized with gunshot wounds.
The gunman has barricaded himself in the academy and police have cordoned off the building. Emergencies ministry troops are being deployed at the academy, and ambulances are waiting nearby.
Eyewitnesses said that students have been jumping out of windows to escape.
