BEIJING, April 26 (RIA Novosti) - At least seven people were killed and another nineteen were missing after landslides hit the Yunnan province in southwest China, the news agency Xinhua reported on Sunday.
The accidents occurred in two populated areas in Weixin County on Sunday. The first landslide killed four passers-by while the second killed three villagers, injured two and left 19 missing, and also destroyed two single-story houses, the agency said, referring to local authorities.
Rescuers have arrived at the accident scene to search for the missing people, the agency said.
