The forward has fallen behind Robbie Keane and Darren Bent for a place in Tottenham's attacking line, and with England international Jermain Defoe yet to return from injury, there has been speculation that the Russian could leave White Hart Lane in the summer.
Pavlyuchenko signed for Tottenham last August from Spartak Moscow and has scored 13 goals in 31 games, albeit only four of those coming in Premier League matches.
"Could I return to Spartak? I can't answer that question," Pavlyuchenko told the Sport Dyen Za Dnyem paper. "Right now I'm playing in England. When I come back, I'll tell you. But I don't want to go anywhere at this point."
He also said that while he was full of admiration for English stadiums and fans he missed the massive banners that Russian supporters regularly hold up during matches.
"They don't have those banners that we have there," he said, adding however that, "The supporters in England are amazing, they sing at the grounds, and it is great to hear them."
Russia face Azerbaijan on Saturday in Moscow in a World Cup qualifier before travelling to Lichtenstein for their next fixture on Wednesday. Guus Hiddink's side are currently four points behind leaders Germany in Group 4 with a game in hand.
Pavlyuchenko is joined in the national team by Russia's only other foreign-based player, Arsenal's Andrei Arshavin.
The 27-year-old forward said recently that he was hoping the recent emotional stress of his drawn-out move to Arsenal would not affect his performance in the games.
Arshavin finally signed for Arsenal at the beginning of February after over half a year of speculation, rumors and negotiations that the Russian media dubbed the "Arshavin soap opera."
"The last few months have been extremely emotional, and I still haven't completely got over it. I hope this won't affect my performance for the national side," he said.
