BRUSSELS, March 6 (RIA Novosti) - The Czech foreign minister, whose country holds the EU's rotating presidency, said on Friday that there would be no more disruptions to Russian natural gas supplies to EU consumers.

"According to information I have, Ukraine has repaid its debt," Karel Schwarzenberg said.

Russian energy giant Gazprom said on Thursday that it had received payment in full from Ukraine's national energy company Naftogaz for natural gas supplied in February.

Gazprom suspended gas deliveries to Ukraine on January 1 over non-payment, and the sides' failure to reach a new gas deal. A week later, Gazprom accused Kiev of stealing gas intended for EU consumers and cut off gas deliveries to the European Union via Ukraine, prompting two weeks of gas shortfalls across much of Eastern Europe.
