MOSCOW, February 19 (RIA Novosti) - Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic will sign an agreement on visa-free travel with Russia on Friday during his visit to Moscow February 19-21, a Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Thursday.

"As part of the visit, an agreement is expected to be signed between the Russian government and the government of Serbia on facilitating mutual trips by citizens who will get the opportunity for visa-free entry into the territory of the other country for a term of 30 days," Andrei Nesterenko said.

Serbia lifted visa requirements for Russians in early March last year, shortly after Kosovo made its February 17 unilateral declaration of independence. In the Balkans, Russians also enjoy visa-free travel regimes with Croatia, Montenegro and Macedonia.

During the visit, Jeremic is to meet with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, to discuss topical European issues, including Kosovo.
