MOSCOW, February 15 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Maxim Chudov won a 12.5 km men's pursuit biathlon race at the World Cup competition in Pyeongchang, South Korea, on Sunday.
Chudov who was 41.7 seconds behind Norway's Ole Einar Bjorndalen was declared the winner after a one-minute penalty was added to the Norwegian legend's finish time.
Therefore, the gold went to Chudov, the silver to Norway's Alexander Os (11.1 seconds behind the winner) and the bronze to Bjorndalen (18.3 seconds behind the winner).
