MOSCOW, February 13 (RIA Novosti) - Germany has agreed to a request by the Russian Prosecutor General's Office to extradite a suspected drug dealer, a spokesman for Russia's Interpol Bureau said on Friday.

Nsyan Mofsesyan is accused by Russian authorities of buying drugs in the Netherlands in 2005 and bringing them to Russia to sell on.

"Nsyan Mofsesyan will be extradited tonight from Germany to Moscow under a joint convoy from the Russian Interpol bureau and the Federal Penitentiary Service," the spokesman said.

The suspect was arrested in Germany on November 24, 2008 and Berlin agreed in mid-January to hand him over to the Russian authorities.

The spokesman said this would be the second extradition carried out by the Russian Interpol bureau since the beginning of the year.

As of December 1, 2008 a total of 1,240 people are on Russia's international wanted list, 316 of whom face murder charges.

Another 302 are wanted on fraud charges, 103 on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activity, 145 for robberies and extortions, 174 on smuggling charges and 46 in connection with drug-related crimes.
