MOSCOW, December 28 (RIA Novosti) - Two workers were killed and three others injured in a fire that broke out in a dormitory in western Moscow, the emergencies ministry said on Sunday.
"[They] worked on the Moscow City [business center] construction site and lived in that dormitory. Now we are establishing their identities," the emergencies ministry said.
The fire broke out early on Sunday in a four-storey brick building. The fire, which has been extinguished by now, is believed to have started in the basement, the emergencies ministry said.
About 20 people were evacuated from the dormitory during the fire while several people jumped out of the second floor onto the roof of a nearby building, the emergencies ministry said.
