NEW DELHI, November 26 (RIA Novosti) - Central Russia’s Tver Region hopes to attract Indian investors at the Russian exhibition underway in New Delhi, a deputy governor said on Wednesday.

The Russian National Exhibition, running from November 25 to 28, is being held at the India Expo Centre EXPO XXI.

“India has expressed its interest in products of our train-coach building plant, and production of excavators and electric appliances, as well as our peat deposits,” Vasily Toloko said.

During his visit to India, the deputy governor will meet with representatives of the world’s largest steel company, Arcelor Mittal, which plans to invest some $130 million in construction of a plant to produce metal fittings in the region.
