MOSCOW, November 13 (RIA Novosti) - Russian cell phone operator MTS [RTS: MTSS] said on Thursday its US GAAP net income increased 10.7%, year-on-year, in January-September 2009 to $1.79 billion.
Russia's largest mobile phone company, which has more franchises in Central and Eastern Europe than any other operator, said its revenues in the reporting period grew 32.1% to $7.83 billion.
OIBDA (operating income before depreciation and amortization) climbed 28.5% to $3.98 billion and the OIBDA margin stood at 50.8%.
